Ceremonial cacao is unroasted, minimally processed cacao paste made from whole cacao beans — nothing added, nothing removed. Unlike commercial chocolate, it retains its full nutritional and energetic properties. It has been used for thousands of years in indigenous Mesoamerican traditions for ceremony, healing, and community.
Where does Cacao Magic cacao come from?
Our cacao is sourced directly from Bribri indigenous farming communities on the South Caribbean coast of Costa Rica — one of the few remaining regions where cacao is still
grown and processed in alignment with ancestral tradition. We are working directly with these communities for over 10 years.
What makes Cacao Magic different from other ceremonial cacao brands?
Most ceremonial cacao is sourced from Peru or Ecuador through intermediaries. Ours comes directly from Costa Rica, unroasted, small-batch, and fully traceable from farmer to facilitator. We don't just source cacao — we have lived inside the culture that produces it.
