Our Story
Cacao Magic Costa Rica grew naturally from a life shaped by cacao, community, and the forests of Costa Rica.
For six years, Itamar and Noa Geva lived in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, including three years in a traditional Bribri conical house with their three children. Over time, they built lasting relationships with Bribri families, learned from the rhythms of the land, and came to understand cacao not simply as a food, but as a living medicine.
Preparing cacao alongside their Bribri neighbors revealed something profound. Every step, from harvest to grinding, carried generations of knowledge, care, and respect. That experience became the seed of Cacao Magic Costa Rica.
What We Do
Each batch is carefully processed by a 100-woman Bribri association on the South Caribbean coast — with nothing added and nothing removed, preserving its natural richness, aroma, and character from the forest to your cup.
We source 100% organic, unroasted cacao directly from Bribri farming communities on Costa Rica's South Caribbean coast, where cacao continues to be cultivated with deep respect for ancestral practices.Our offerings include ceremonial cacao paste, artisan chocolate bars, cacao nibs, cacao seeds, chocobananos, and bulk cacao for international partners.
