Fifty percent our raw Talamanca cacao. Twenty percent pure cacao butter. Thirty percent raw maca root from the high Andes of Peru. Three ingredients, and the whole bar is those three.
Maca brings a warm, malty, almost caramel earthiness that rounds the cacao out and gives the bar its body. The extra cacao butter carries them both, so it melts slow and stays smooth all the way through. Two of the great plants of the Americas, one from the mountains of Costa Rica and one from the Peruvian highlands, meeting in a single bar.
Unsweetened, and full of its own warmth. Ten bars to pass around a circle, gift to friends, or keep close for the season.
